how to add the subsites list in the main page of topsite

      I want to put all subsite pages links to the main page of a site, how to handle?
(NOT how to add a subsite, but to add the list of all subsites under this site, so that the clients can access the subsite from the parent site via this link).

I wish an automatic way, that when I add a new subsite, the list can be automatically updated and shown in the main page.
